The Town of
Amherst's 40th annual Fourth of July Festivities and Fireworks, presented by
Leisure Services,
will be held Friday July 4th at UMass fields behind Alumni Football Stadium

FESTIVITIES WILL START @ 5 P.M.

Schedule
Before the Fireworks
7 pm and 8:15 pm
A bus will run from The Boulders to the
UMass Alumni Stadium along PVTA Bus Route 31. The bus will stop
at PVTA bus stops. Look for “University of Massachusetts Stadium” on the
destination sign.
7 pm and 8:15 pm
A bus will run from Old Belchertown Road to the UMass Alumni Stadium
along PVTA Bus Route 30. The bus will stop at PVTA bus stops. Look for
“University of Massachusetts Stadium” on the destination sign.
7:45 pm
A bus will be at the Townehouse bus stop and will travel to the UMass
Alumni Stadium via Puffton Village along PVTA Bus Route 30. The
bus will stop at PVTA bus stops. Look for “University of Massachusetts Stadium”
on the destination sign.
After
the Fireworks
Only one trip will be made to the above
locations following the end of the fireworks display. Twenty minutes after the
end of the fireworks a bus will depart from the front of Alumni Stadium to each
of these destinations:
-PVTA Bus Route 30
to Puffton Village and on to Townehouse and Meadow Street.
Destination sign: North Amherst.
- PVTA Bus Route 30
with drop-offs from Main Street at Town Hall to Old Belchertown Road.
Destination sign: Old Belchertown Road.
-PVTA Bus Route 31
from South Pleasant Street to the Boulders. Destination sign: South Amherst.
